Q. Is it really true that The Growing Grounds offers a free, no obligation custom Landscape Design?

A. Yes, it is! Of course, we hope once you meet us and see the design, you will retain our services. However, whatever you decide, you will receive our thank you and your design. We appreciate the opportunity to meet you and share our talents.

Q. Can we come to The Growing Grounds and see the trees and plants you are offering?

A. You are always welcomed here! It will be our pleasure to show you around. However, remember we give special pricing to those ordering online. After all, a 10 to 12 foot Foxtail Palm, is what it is. On our website, you will be able to see photos of it. However, if you would like to drive out to Pine Island, we would love to see you.

Q. We are new to Florida and know little about Palm Trees and Tropical Plants, can you educate us a bit?

A. We certainly can! We have printed material available and if you do visit, we will give you the VIP tour. In the fall we also have several informational seminars on Florida trees and plants

Q. What happens if I purchase a palm tree and it doesn't survive?

A. The Growing Grounds offers two warranties. Our standard six month warranty states if the palm tree dies, we will replace it at 50% of the original cost. Our Gold Bond Palm Life Warranty (which costs 5% of the price of the palm) will provide you with a one year no-charge replacement if the palm tree does not survive, for any reason. The only exceptions are damage caused by a freeze or hurricane.

Q. How much do you charge for palm tree delivery?

A. All of our prices include delivery and planting!

Q. Do you offer a discount, if we pick up our new palm trees and plants?

A. Yes, I can offer you a 30% discount off our regular prices.

Q. When should we expect our trees to be delivered and planted.

A. The actual time will be dependent on the number of orders ahead of you, but our normal delivery time is two weeks. If you are in a hurry, let us know.

Q. How can we arrange for our free landscape design?

A. Please call to schedule an appointment (239-265-2766) or complete our contact form and we will call you. Appointments are set for 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Q. Can we see some of your previous jobs.

A. We are proud of our work and would be pleased for you to see it. Simply call us and we will provide you with Lee and/or Charlotte County addresses.

Q. How do your prices compare with other area landscapers?

A. Normally our prices are lower and even lower than Home Depot and Lowe's.

Q. What should we do, if a problem arises with a palm tree or plant?
